Quilts on Forist Lane, an outdoor quilt show

The Gateway Quilters Guild proudly presents our biennial quilt show, Quilts on Forist Lane.

This enchanting outdoor quilt show allows you to view each quilt easily as you take a short stroll down a paved  tree lined street in Merced. The beautiful quilts are hung along the green lawns and gardens  or among the shady trees.   We have chairs and tables for you to take a quick refreshment before you shop at our guild booth with handmade crafts to purchase for yourself or as a gift.  An additional 10 vendors will be present selling fabric, home decor and sweet treats.

Our featured artist is Diane Swenson, a fellow guild member. She is know for her talent in color selection  and quilting skill.  Diane hand appliques many of her quilts.

We will have opportunity tickets available to purchase to win a hand appliqued and custom quilted quilt.  Tickets are 1 for $1 and 6 for $5. The quilt is called Prairie Meadow (66″ x 84″), and designed by Lori Holt.  It was handmade by Lisa Slaton and 12 other guild members.   Tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance from a Gateway Quilters Guild member. Drawing for the quilt will be at 3:45. Good luck!

Entry for the one day show is $10 which includes a light refreshment. Entry tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance from a Gateway Quilters Guild member.

$10/per person. Please purchase tickets in advance or bring cash or credit card to pay on the day of the event.  

Online purchases must be completed by 9/7/2024.

For those who purchase tickets in advance  please keep a copy of your receipt to show at the front door for entrance.
