Foundation Piecing with Designer, Shayna Bennett

Shayna Bennet, one of our talented members and pattern designer created a simplified version of a spiraling log cabin just for us!  She will be teaching a workshop on a Tilted Log Cabin at the Hoffmeister Center.  We will explore the fundamentals of foundation piecing and create a stunning block.  We will also learn how to modify it.

This is a foundation piecing pattern for the advanced beginner:  one who feels comfortable sewing a straight line and pressing open small pieces .

Shayna has had two patterns accepted for publication in Make Modern  Magazine.
