Filament Fantasy

Fantastic, frantic, frustrating, festive filaments; turbulent, twisting, tormenting threads.  Come and experiment with a wide variety of threads and stitching techniques as you begin to create this fantastic heart quilt!   Use two threads through one needle, do bobbin work and couching, machine embroidery, machine beading and cutwork.  Come and learn how to use foil and painted fusibles & Solvy, quilt as you go and finish your quilt off with fused hidden seams and beaded binding.  Come on, have a heart! (In the two-day class, students will have time to complete all 12 blocks; in the one-day class, some blocks are demonstration-only.)
